No, not until I followed a link in something posted after I wrote the above. I have seen maybe 100 tweets in my life.
The ranting on Reddit that this is the end of the world and Python is doomed?
No.
I wasn't referring specifically to Chris or Serhiy's comments, but about the general over-reaction, here and elsewhere.
The few tweets I read gave me an idea of what you meant.
