If you're going to PyCon and interested in static typing for Python (e.g. mypy, pytype, Pyre, PyCharm), I have something for you. I am hoping to organize a Typing Summit, on Thursday afternoon, May 2nd. If you're interested, please reply to me so I can gauge interest.
