SYNOPSIS top

   <_sys/types.h_> <_sys/acl.h_> _int_ **acl_free**(_void *objp_)

DESCRIPTION top

   The **acl_free**() function frees any releasable memory currently

   pointer to a string allocated by the **acl_to_text**() function.

   The **acl_free**() function returns the value 0 if successful;
   otherwise the value -1 is returned and the global variable _[errno](../man3/errno.3.html)_
   is set to indicate the error.

ERRORS top

   If any of the following conditions occur, the **acl_free**() function
   returns the value **-1** and and sets _[errno](../man3/errno.3.html)_ to the corresponding
   value:

   [EINVAL] The value of the argument _objp_ is invalid.
