DESCRIPTION top

   These functions calculate the inverse hyperbolic sine of _x_; that
   is the value whose hyperbolic sine is _x_.

RETURN VALUE top

   On success, these functions return the inverse hyperbolic sine of
   _x_.

   If _x_ is a NaN, a NaN is returned.

   If _x_ is +0 (-0), +0 (-0) is returned.

   If _x_ is positive infinity (negative infinity), positive infinity
   (negative infinity) is returned.

ERRORS top

   No errors occur.
