   **[[deprecated]] void bcopy(const void** _src_**[.**_n_**], void** _dest_**[.**_n_**], size_t** _n_**);**

DESCRIPTION top

   The **bcopy**() function copies _n_ bytes from _src_ to _dest_.  The result
   is correct, even when both areas overlap.

   None.

   Marked as LEGACY in POSIX.1-2001: use [memcpy(3)](../man3/memcpy.3.html) or [memmove(3)](../man3/memmove.3.html) in
   new programs.  Note that the first two arguments are interchanged
   for [memcpy(3)](../man3/memcpy.3.html) and [memmove(3)](../man3/memmove.3.html).  POSIX.1-2008 removes the
   specification of **bcopy**().
