pandas.DataFrame.shape — pandas 3.0.0.dev0+2103.g41968a550a documentation (original) (raw)

property DataFrame.shape[source]#

Return a tuple representing the dimensionality of the DataFrame.

Unlike the len() method, which only returns the number of rows, shapeprovides both row and column counts, making it a more informative method for understanding dataset size.
