Index. min(self, axis=None, skipna=True, *args, **kwargs)[source]¶

Return the minimum value of the Index.

Parameters

axis{None}

Dummy argument for consistency with Series.

skipnabool, default True

Returns

scalar

Minimum value.

For a MultiIndex, the minimum is determined lexicographically.
