Opening Times Museum Open - Tuesday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm Open - Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays - 11.30am to 5.00pm Closed - Monday, Christmas week and New Years Day Opening times may vary on special event weekends. Library (By appointment only) The Library is only be accessible by appointment on Tuesday and Wednesday. All appointments must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of any visit. The Museum is next to the Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME), Brompton Barracks and only a short bus or taxi journey from either station. Gillingham Railway Station is the closest station, only a ten minute walk to the Museum.
