The number of births on earth is only a fraction of the Earths total population. The number of births is of the amount of people born in a single moment in time, whereas the population is of people born on different moments in time. In each of the references it is mentioned that the number of births has increased over the years. Geologist and other scientist believe that the population will increase, and that by 2050 our planet will be over crowded.

In 1804 was the first billion but by just 2004 we are well over 6 billion people on the Earth. Industrialization and the advances in technology and medicine has increased the number of births on Earth. Even though these improvements have helped the world in some ways it has also sealed its future fate. In less than a century it is said that if the Earth. Our planet is already over crowded in some parts of the world.

China is a good example of a place where the number of births is a problem because of the lack of space. This is usually due to the improvements of medicine, people live a lot longer then they use to in the past. Diseases hat would have eventually killed an individual in the 1800s have a cure on the shelves in Rite Aid. Individuals take this opportunity to make large families that live long lives. indirect increase to births was in the US after WWI, the Baby Boom

The increase of births on Earth can be detrimental to our existence. Our natural resources would be used up faster than it can be produced. it can damage the economy and produce more poverty. Technology has helped women whom are unable to reproduce naturally.

In conclusion the number of births is a good thing because it shows that our technology and medicine is put to good use. Then on the other hand because of them the future looks immensely crowded.
