Speech by Minister of Constitutional Affairs and National Integration, Dew Gunasekara in Parliament on October 7 during the debate on Elections (Special Provisions) Bill

Government of Premier S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike had gone into this question of identity cards in depth and incorporated its recommendations to the House of Representatives as the Ceylon Parliamentary Elections (Amendment) Act No. 11 of 1959.
