Unless John Skipper's walking back through that door, are they even interested at this point? Considering that in the last two decades, they've lost the rights to the World Cup, the Euros and the UEFA Champions League... 3. PJ234

I wonder if we will see the men's and women's World Cups split between two different networks now that the rights are being sold separately. Anyways, I hope they move away from Fox. If Disney can reclaim the rights hopefully they can recapture the magic that made 2010 and 2014 such a joy to watch, but if CBS, who has done a wonderful job covering the UCL, or NBC, who's covered the Prem so well for over a decade now, got the rights I would be more than satisfied. 5. The issue is that CBS would put everything on a paywall to be honest. I wouldn't mind ESPN or NBC. 6. jesta

what difference does it make if they get it or not? 7. HomietheClown

FOX has the inside track because they are focused on International Futbol.
Euros, Copa America, Gold Cup, World Cup. They have basically dropped all their Club coverage to focus on the International Game.

NBC is focused on Premier League. CBS is focused on Champions League.
ESPN has Spanish and German Leagues. They may be the ones that are the most pressed to get the rights but not sure they want to spend money when they have lost money on many tournaments and different sports these last few decades. 8. BocaFan

Because ESPN do a better job of covering sporting events, especially soccer. Streaming ESPN content also tends to be better and more accessible.

Anyway, this is the wrong Forum for this thread. 9. Paul Calixte
