Bello(LB in 4231) and Lask got the 0-0 draw against Cercle Brugge. His numbers have been trending up. A move in the summer could be in the offing. He's still only 22. 2. jaykoz3

Damn..... that's a LONG time for a manager in England these days. Most don't last 7.5 months! 3. Shaster

Monster numbers from Paxten(DM in 4231) in Utrecht's 1-0 win over Heracles. Seems to be a more of a ball winner than his bro. Also has 3 goals and 2 MOTMs in 5 starts at DM.

1 goal
0.38 xA
76 touches
40/48 passing
3/6 long balls
10/15 ground duals

Keep him at his club, and hopefully we'll see him at the Nations League finals in March. 12. dlokteff

Richards in the 18 (bench) for Palace. So he's a least healthy enough to play. 13. OWN(yewu)ED

Keep him at his club and we'll see him in June 2026 for the WC. These takes are just silly. If hes healthy enough to start and EPL match call him in. What purpose does leaving him in England serve? 17. Excellency

Maybe call him in and keep him in reserve for the home game case we need him. 18. Bob Morocco

Having watched about half of the Utrecht match Pax was more like the CM next to a DM in a 4231. Most impressive plays I saw that haven’t been mentioned were a throughball from the top of the box to create a 1v1 and then an interception of a square ball played about 6-7 yards in front of Pax where he read it early, jumped the pass and one timed his interception forward right to an attacker, forcing Heracles to take a yellow to stop the counter. 19. FYI Pulisic has been playing a lot in the same midfield role that Malik has predominantly played for PSV. Defend as an 8 in a 433, push up in attack. 20. Excellency

Cole came on for Dortmund again, playing with 10 (Emre Can red card), and showed some good stuff.
If Poch calls him up he should teach him to press (I think he will be good at it with some training) and lecture him on the importance of conditioning if he wants to succeed. Cole could be a real asset for us.

Aaronson had a good game v. QPR. Would just say that in his position getting the ball off the foot or keeping it is crucial. Especially early in games, it can make sense to get the ball off the foot early to discourage the guy marking (who has likely been given orders to mark Brenden closely) and when the guy starts to give up you can keep the ball more. That also brings teammates into the game more.

Leeds recently brought in a real veteran, (Guilavogui) and it was interesting to see the interplay between Guilavogui and Brenden which had been missing with other mates before Guilavogui came on. He came on at 85'. A positive sign of improvement for Brenden: Some good play in the box towards the end of the game showing that he understands the game is different in the box.

b.t.w. I heard on a fan site that 49'ers are looking to expand in soccer and looking at a multi club model. I wonder if it would make sense for 49'ers to buy Cole with an eye on promotion for Leeds. Transfermarkt has his market value as 300K:) 21. thedukeofsoccer

First decent appearance for Campbell in the black and yellow. His feet didn't look ahead of his mind. Still too early for the NT. 1 decent against several poor ones. He needed to show something soon to keep getting shots when reinforcements arrived. It's more likely after the int'l break.

As for Aaronson, if you're saying he had a good game, you're just always going to. I watched the 2nd half & he was straight atrocious until stoppage time. Chicken w/ his head cut off. Then he secured the ball actually, instead of running before he got it. And then released it appropriately. Was part a few moves, when they ultimately sealed the game, at home, vs. the worst team in the league. I imagine that limited the backlash. But we'll still see some. He's got to be better. 22. 10. Brenden Aaronson
8 - Loads of energy, got into good positions and found some really nice passes. Some of his work was a bit frenetic and at times he was physically outmatched but he kept at it.
- Yorkshire Evening Post

Brenden Aaronson – 8
A fine performance from the American. He sparked Leeds into life when his thunderous shot left the crossbar shaking and he was at the heart of their good attacking play.

It was his sensational through-ball that led to the disallowed goal and he was at the heart of Leeds’ good moments.

Haji rolled an ankle. That leave Pepi and Vazquez at striker with Brenden, Pulisic, Weah, and Zedejas in the wide positions. 24. dlokteff

If you're atrocious for almost an entire half, against the worst team in the league, while playing at home, you can't w/ perspective, claim you had a good game.

I'm sure I can find plenty of reviews which assess he was bad to mid, but I'll save myself the assault. I want him to do well & am generally more sympathetic to him than most. But this wasn't it.
