Agree with all of this, that last line is the truth and obvious, this is how i feel about all our players that are ragged, we know the ones that don't contribute and really shouldn't be on our squad, we've seen them ( Mariano to name one) but they are no perfect players out there, when i read stuff like trash and garbage after one or two bad performances i always find that odd, i've read that this season and IMO we have no trash on this squad this season, no deadweight, this game by game.....scratch that, play by play judgement isn't reality, it can be as bad as in the 15th min he's garbage but in the 70th he's a hero, nonsense..... or trolling? 2. russian hattie

Or maybe RM management not having revolving door transfer strategy like you want is the reason why we are so successful instead of Chelsea like hipster squad.

You rated Ligt like the biggest CB talent of this generation. Why are Bayern defense so trash under him? And it's been the case for two seasons. Not nitpicking 2-3 games like with Militao. 5. Raul-7

Revolving door? He's been here for 5 seasons and he's fallen hard over the past couple of seasons. Very inconsistent and erratic in defense. Lacks concentration and make critical errors. He's definitely not the heir to Sergio Ramos or even Pepe.

Last season [22/23] de Ligt was a key player in Bayern; not sure why he fell out of favor under Tuchel. But I'd happily take Saliba, Saclvini, Yoro, Antonio Siva or Goncalo Inacio. 6. yoanaidarov

He needs a full preseason and some more game time before the club even thinks about getting rid of him. I’m 100% certain he will recover next season. 7. Saeta Rubia

What last couple of seasons dude? He got ACL injury in the first game of this season. Talk about clutching at the straws. He was our best CB in 2021-22 double season.

Him and Nacho were brilliant together when Ramos and Varane were injured and we made a huge comeback in La Liga and reached CL semis in 2020-21.

Last year Bayern were mediocre too. Dortmund literally gifted them the time by losing home game to Mainz on matchday 38. You don't watch him nearly as much as Militao.

Ligt "key player" for mediocre Bayern while dissing Militao nitpicking 4-0 vs City etc when the entire team was bad. Militao was brilliant at Anfield, 4-0 at Camp Nou etc. He isn't mediocre.

You wanted overhyped Ligt and club got it right signing Militao instead. Just get over wannabe scout thing trying to prove Militao isn't good enough for 5 years since because you wanted Ligt instead. Ligt was meh at Juve too. Such a slow defender would flop even bigger than Walter Samuel did at RM. Glad Juni had the sense and signed Militao instead. 8. Saeta Rubia

As for revolving door, you wanted Vini sold for Mbappe last season. Even asked for that swap in Valencia match thread last season which was ill timed to say the least.

Now Vini leads RM to a CL final and they will play together next season. RM doesn't work like FIFA/Football Manager anymore. Flo 10 years ago would disrupt winning team selling Di Maria for James etc. Not anymore.

He nor Juni is moved by "next Pique" Ligt etc and signed Militao who had the pace and strength to play in our high line. Club announced renewal of his contract when he was out with ACL. He's staying next season and will have time to get back into best physical shape. 9. Saeta Rubia

And Carlo has praised Militao numerous times when we were winning. Last season league race was pretty much done after we lost at Camp Nou and team had more poor performance in dead rubber La Liga games since.

RM lost final 5 La Liga games in a row after 6-2 Clasico loss in 2008-09. If Ramos and co were to be judged on the performance of those games without considering the context, he could have been shipped out too.

No DM line up last season with Modric, Kroos playing together were gonna get punished at some point and it did vs City. Thankfully we reached semis before then because Camavinga played at Anfield (Kroos had flu so no old duo starting without DM), end to end Bernabéu game vs Pool we won 1-0 despite playing Fede as DM and Lampard's Chelsea were trash in the next round.
S1na and .halamadrid2. repped this. 10. arcane

Militao obviously is good enough. His biggest weakness is his consistancy with his occassional brain fart moment. Which isn't good for a defender. Fortunately for him, this usually can be improved with more experience. Remember CB's usually peak in their early 30s. 11. yoanaidarov

I think it might be the time to separate ways with Militao. His last season here ? 16. AppleBob86

Yeah we'll put him on the transfer list when he's going through a 9-10 month layoff.

Put down whatever you're smoking 17. arcane

Ye that's too aggressive, but the club need to look at militao (moving forward) as the 3rd CB. He is becoming fragile. And you don't get paid top dollars for being consistently injured (well, unless you're Eden Hazard). It will be a slow departure.
He probably needs a team that play less games. 20. Saeta Rubia

Militao has a contract until 2028. RM will have to honour it. At least, it's not the same knee as last season.

Boniface had back to back ACLs while in Belgium. He recovered and performed at good level to reach Bayern Leverkusen later on.

Hope Militao can bounce back and be a contributing player. 21. Nir_O

Disaster... don't know how he will come back. second ACL ir 2 years?? wow... 24. benny_madridista

Meniscus involved as well.
Disastrous from the club going into this season with only 2 CBs, one of them having only just returned from a long-term injury.
Best we can hope for is Asencio (and other canteranos) do well this season because Militao isn't playing football anytime soon.
