Overview
Adopted: 7 November 1996, Ratio: 7:11. Capital: Rapla. White over green bicolor with Coat of Arms centered on the white. Slightly pointy shield with awhite cross, 1st and 4th quarters red, 2nd yellow, 3rd blue.

From <www.raplamv.ee>: Design of coat of arms comes from the coat of arms of Harjumaa because most of the Raplamaa is part of historic Harjumaa. Colors come from coat of arms of Harjumaa, Järvamaa, Läänemaa and Pärnumaa. Raplamaa was formed from parts of these counties.
