Summary

The Leadtools.ImageOptimization assembly's functions allow the optimization of image file formats supported by the internet browser, in order to speed up the loading/viewing process of the internet page.

Key Features

• Apply image optimization
  • An image buffer in memory
  • An entire directory of images, saving the optimized images to another directory
• Identifies the best bits-per-pixel for optimum saved image quality, based on file format.
• Supports all image file formats supported by Internet browsers (.gif, .bmp, .png, and .jpg) to decrease the image loading time on the Internet page.
• Optimize the following formats using the Image Optimizer functions:
  • JPEG File (FILE_JPEG).
  • JPEG 411 File (FILE_JPEG_411).
  • JPEG 422 File (FILE_JPEG_422).
  • EXIF JPEG 4:1:1 File (FILE_EXIF_JPEG_411).
  • EXIF JPEG 4:2:2 File (FILE_EXIF_JPEG_422).
  • GIF File (FILE_GIF).
  • PNG File (FILE_PNG).
  • BMP Without RLE Compression File (FILE_BMP).
  • BMP With RLE Compression File (FILE_BMP_RLE).
