Summary
LEADTOOLS Document class library provides a uniform set of programming tools for creating, reading and writing raster and SVG images, annotations, thumbnails, text data, metadata and bookmarks from supported document types.
This library can be used to create the following:
- Fully functional document viewing application with unlimited smooth page zooming, thumbnails, metadata and text search without the need to know any specifics about the format you are using. LEADTOOLS Document Viewer uses the Document library to provide such functionality.
- Convert documents from any format to another using OCR and SVG technologies. LEADTOOLS Document Converter Library uses the Documents classes to provide this support.
For ease of use, try the Leadtools.LEADVIEW library, an abstraction layer that runs on top of the LEADTOOLS Document class library. It is designed to be fully customizable through configuration files without any programming needed. Using the LEADTOOLS LEADVIEW library, you can create an entire, fully functional DocumentViewer application with as few as 3 lines of code.
Supported Document Types
All the file formats supported by LEADTOOLS can be used with the Document class library. This includes but not limited to:
- Adobe Acrobat PDF and PDF/A
- Microsoft Office DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX and PPT/PPTX
- CAD formats such as DXF, DWG and DWF
- TIFF, JPEG, PNG, EXIF, BMP and hundred more raster image formats
- Plain Text and RTF
- HTML
- ePub
All the above support is provided natively by LEADTOOLS without the need of any 3rd party tools or applications installed on the system.
