Version 18 of this C API has changed from version 17.5 as follows:

Feature Updates

• LEADTOOLS DLLs (except for LEADTOOLS Common Dialogs) no longer require the DLL version of the Microsoft C/C++ Runtime.
• LEADTOOLS now provides C libraries for LINUX.

Enhanced file format support

• (PCL)/(PCL-XL) supports LEAD's redirected IO feature.
• OCR font enhancements in DocumentWriter for better output. Font size detection has been enhanced to improve output. PDF and all DocumentWriter formats have been enhanced.
• (DOC) filter enhancements (Windows):
  • Added support for floating images
  • Improved support for tables, nested tables and the Table of Contents
  • Improved support for DPI
  • Supports loading files with different page width and height
  • Supports loading Word documents with different rasterization options: Best Fit or Multipage
  • Added support for creating, reading and writing PDF Annotation objects

Enhanced PDF Annotation object support

• Added support for creating, reading and writing PDF Annotation objects
• Updated the PDFDocument Demo with this support
