Summary

Initializes the fields in the segmentation handle.

Syntax

L_LTSGM_API L_INT L_MrcStartBitmapSegmentation(phSegment, pBitmap, clrBackground, clrForeground)

Parameters

pHSEGMENTATION phSegment

Pointer to be updated with the initialized segmentation handle.

pBITMAPHANDLE pBitmap

Pointer to the bitmap handle that references the bitmap to be segmented.

COLORREF clrBackground

Default base background color for the MRC bitmap.

COLORREF clrForeground

Default base foreground color for the MRC bitmap.

Comments

This function must be called before using any bitmap segmentation functions.

When the handle to the segmentation is no longer needed, it should be freed by calling L_MrcStopBitmapSegmentation. For every call to L_MrcStartBitmapSegmentation there must be a call to L_MrcStopBitmapSegmentation.
