32-bit FAST TWAIN support (32-bit) makes it possible to load and control image acquisition from any device (scanner, digital camera, etc.) which supports TWAIN. You can either use the device's built-in user-interface or create your own. You can analyze the TWAIN source, considering its bits per pixel, image type and compression requested from the TWAIN device, and find the fastest compression type, transfer mode and buffer schemes to optimize performance.
