Selbekk (2010) reports the presence of Nd-dominated zones in predominantly Ce-rich monazite. He deemed it therefore correct to list monazite-(Nd) as a valid species for this locality.

He did not specify in which of the Rostadheia quarries this discovery was made.

Unfortunately, these quarries are off-limit for collectors, and it is therefor impossible to try to collect more samples for further study.
