First find was made in 1992 on Khaldzan Buragtag massif, Altai Mts, Hovd Aimag (Khovd Aimag), Mongolia.
Approved in 2020, with the type locality being the Jabal Sayid peralkaline granitic complex, Saudi Arabia.
