Lednevite (original) (raw)
A valid IMA mineral species
Formula:
Cu[PO3(OH)] · H2O
Crystal System:
Monoclinic
Name:
named for Vladimir Sergeevich Lednev, amateur mineralogist from Barnaul (Altai Krai) who collected the sample with the new mineral.
Known synthetic analogue. A "stoichiometric" P-"analogue" of geminite, but this is not a true analogy due to structural misfit.
