Name:

Named after Antonio D'Achiardi (1839–1902), Professor of Mineralogy, Universitá di Pisa, Italy, who first described the mineral discovered by his son in a granitic pegmatite. Originally named only dachiardite, it was renamed in 1997 as dachiardite-Ca by the IMA.
