1 ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ ὁ κύριος ἐβασίλευσεν ὀργιζέσθωσαν λαοί ὁ καθήμενος ἐπὶ τῶν χερουβιν σαλευθήτω ἡ γῆ 2 κύριος ἐν Σιων μέγας καὶ ὑψηλός ἐστιν ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς λαούς 3 ἐξομολογησάσθωσαν τῷ ὀνόματί σου τῷ μεγάλῳ ὅτι φοβερὸν καὶ ἅγιόν ἐστιν 4 καὶ τιμὴ βασιλέως κρίσιν ἀγαπᾷ σὺ ἡτοίμασας εὐθύτητας κρίσιν καὶ δικαιοσύνην ἐν Ιακωβ σὺ ἐποίησας 5 ὑψοῦτε κύριον τὸν θεὸν ἡμῶν καὶ προσκυνεῖτε τῷ ὑποποδίῳ τῶν ποδῶν αὐτοῦ ὅτι ἅγιός ἐστιν 6 Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων ἐν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν αὐτοῦ καὶ Σαμουηλ ἐν τοῖς ἐπικαλουμένοις τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐπεκαλοῦντο τὸν κύριον καὶ αὐτὸς ἐπήκουσεν αὐτῶν 7 ἐν στύλῳ νεφέλης ἐλάλει πρὸς αὐτούς ἐφύλασσον τὰ μαρτύρια αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ προστάγματα ἃ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς 8 κύριε ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν σὺ ἐπήκουες αὐτῶν ὁ θεός σὺ εὐίλατος ἐγίνου αὐτοῖς καὶ ἐκδικῶν ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα αὐτῶν 9 ὑψοῦτε κύριον τὸν θεὸν ἡμῶν καὶ προσκυνεῖτε εἰς ὄρος ἅγιον αὐτοῦ ὅτι ἅγιος κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν

1 The Lord is king, the nations are adread; he is throned above the Cherubim, and earth trembles before him. 2 Great is the Lord who dwells in Sion, sovereign ruler of all peoples! 3 Let them all praise that great name of thine, a name terrible and holy. 4 He reigns in might, that right loves, to all assuring redress, giving the sons of Jacob doom and award. 5 Praise, then, the Lord our God, and bow down before his footstool; that, too, is holy. 6 Remember Moses and Aaron, and all those priests of his, Samuel and those others who called on his name, how the Lord listened when they called upon him. 7 His voice came to them from the pillar of cloud; so it was they heard the decrees, the command he gave them. 8 And thou, O Lord our God, didst listen to them, and they found thee a God of pardon; yet every fault of theirs thou wert quick to punish. 9 Praise the Lord our God, and do worship on the holy mountain where he dwells; the Lord our God is holy.

1 Dominus regnavit: irascantur populi;
qui sedet super cherubim: moveatur terra. 2
Dominus in Sion magnus,
et excelsus super omnes populos. 3
Confiteantur nomini tuo magno,
quoniam terribile et sanctum est, 4
et honor regis judicium diligit.
Tu parasti directiones;
judicium et justitiam in Jacob tu fecisti. 5
Exaltate Dominum Deum nostrum,
et adorate scabellum pedum ejus,
quoniam sanctum est. 6
Moyses et Aaron in sacerdotibus ejus,
et Samuel inter eos qui invocant nomen ejus:
invocabant Dominum, et ipse exaudiebat eos; 7
in columna nubis loquebatur ad eos.
Custodiebant testimonia ejus,
et præceptum quod dedit illis. 8
Domine Deus noster, tu exaudiebas eos;
Deus, tu propitius fuisti eis,
et ulciscens in omnes adinventiones eorum. 9
Exaltate Dominum Deum nostrum,
et adorate in monte sancto ejus,
quoniam sanctus Dominus Deus noster.
