You are better off posting to the python-list mailing list to get help in figuring out what your problem is. This bug tracker is for reporting bugs in python, and suffice it to say that unless someone writes a program in python that has an infinite loop in it of soem sort, python does not normally use 100% cpu. So there must be somehing wrong with your install, and python-list is a good place to get help on figuring out what the problem is.

Poweliks is a Windows trojan: http://www.google.com.au/search?q=poweliks If you are claiming that poweliks was included in the Python download, you will need to give more details, and others will have to reproduce the problem. Otherwise it is more likely that you got infected elsewhere, and only noticed it after Python was installed. According to Symantic, Poweliks is most likely to have been installed by a fake Word or Excel document. If you still believe that the Python download contained the Poweliks trojan, please tell us the EXACT url you used to download.

No. Clean PC. Nothing on it. Eradicated Windows. I've got several MS bills that thy attempted to root out Poweliks but where unable. Not to be an azz but you could pay one of them off and see what you think. Apple side is unaffected. I threw 8 antivirus/ malware at it and it survived damaged but came back. Used Apple side to crush Poweliks.
