The Altstadtring is the innermost ring road of Munich, Bavaria, Germany. With the exception of the northwestern part, it runs roughly along the path of the former second wall of Munich and surrounds Munich's Altstadt. With the exception of the part between Isartor and Sendlinger Tor, it is mostly built with four or five lanes. Because of the loop solution, it is impossible to drive through the Altstadt by motor vehicle, and all motor traffic must use the Altstadtring.

À l'exception de la partie entre Isartor et Sendlinger Tor, elle est principalement construite avec quatre ou cinq voies. En raison de la solution de boucle, il est impossible de traverser l'Altstadt en véhicule à moteur et tout le trafic automobile doit utiliser l'Altstadtring. Cette voie de ceinture de gabarit large, en particulier le tunnel Altstadtringtunnel qui a été construit en 1972, est un stigmate de l'époque où l'automobile était reine dans la ville et qui permettait des vitesses quasi autoroutières.
