In logic, anti-psychologism (also logical objectivism or logical realism) is a theory about the nature of logical truth, that it does not depend upon the contents of human ideas but exists independent of human ideas. (en) L’antipsychologisme est un courant de la philosophie et de la logique apparu au XIXe siècle, qui s’oppose au psychologisme, c'est-à-dire qui postule que toute entité (mathématique, logique, sémantique...) ne se ramène pas à la psychologie humaine, aux conceptions de l’esprit, mais peut parfois être connue à priori. Il s’oppose en cela à l’empirisme et au naturalisme pour se rapprocher de l’externalisme. Bien que l’on retrouve les prémices de l’antipsychologisme chez Kant, Bolzano ou Herbart, c’est réellement Frege qui fonde le mouvement en postulant fermement que la logique ne se ramène pas à la psychologie dans Les Fondements de l'arithmétique (1884). Dès 1900, Husserl critique lui aussi le psychologisme avec ses Recherches logiques. La fin du XIXe siècle est donc marqué par l’affrontement entre les deux courants en Allemagne, épisode que l'on appelle désormais la « querelle du psychologisme ».
