The European Commission's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (previously the Return Fund, the Refugee Fund, and the Integration Fund) is a funding programme managed by the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs which promotes the efficient management of migration flows and the implementation, strengthening and development of a common approach to asylum and immigration in the European Union. All EU Member States except Denmark participate in the implementation of this Fund. Most of the funds are provided to the EU Member States for activities addressing previously agreed upon themes. A part of the funding is reserved for emergency assistance. A final part is reserved for Union Actions, which are European Commission managed projects that are developed as either calls for prop

Er wurde erstmals im April 2014 für den Zeitraum von 2014 bis 2020 eingesetzt und ersetzte dabei den Europäischen Flüchtlingsfonds, den Europäischen Integrationsfonds und den Europäischen Rückkehrfonds. (de) Fundusz Azylu, Migracji i Integracji – fundusz mający na celu przyczynianie się do skutecznego zarządzania przepływami migracyjnymi i do realizacji, wzmacniania i rozwoju wspólnej polityki w zakresie azylu, i ochrony czasowej oraz wspólnej polityki imigracyjnej z pełnym poszanowaniem praw i zasad zapisanych w Karcie praw podstawowych Unii Europejskiej. Fundusz przyczynia się do realizacji następujących wspólnych celów szczegółowych: a) wzmocnienie i rozwinięcie wszelkich aspektów wspólnego europejskiego systemu azylowego, w tym jego wymiaru zewnętrznego; b) wspieranie legalnej migracji do państw członkowskich zgodnie z ich potrzebami gospodarczymi i społecznymi, takimi jak potrzeby rynku pracy, przy jednoczesnym zagwarantowaniu spójności systemów imigracyjnych państw członkowskich, oraz promowanie skutecznej integracji obywateli państw trzecich; c) ulepszanie sprawiedliwych i skutecznych strategii powrotów w państwach członkowskich, które to strategie przyczyniają się do walki z nielegalną imigracją, z naciskiem na zapewnienie trwałego charakteru powrotu oraz skutecznej readmisji w krajach pochodzenia i tranzytu; d) wzmocnienie – w tym przez praktyczną współpracę – solidarności i podziału odpowiedzialności pomiędzy państwami członkowskimi, w szczególności w odniesieniu do tych państw, których zjawisko przepływów migracyjnych i azylowych dotyczy w największym stopniu. Den syftar även till att stödja integrationsåtgärder. Fonden inrättades ursprungligen 2014, och ersatte då de tidigare fonderna Europeiska flyktingfonden, Europeiska återvändandefonden och Europeiska fonden för integration av tredjelandsmedborgare. Under 2021 reformerades fonden med hänsyn till den nya fleråriga budgetramen. Fonden finansierar även Europeiska migrationsnätverket. Alla medlemsstater omfattas av fonden utom Danmark, som står utanför på grund av sin undantagsklausul på området med frihet, säkerhet och rättvisa. (sv) |
