Das Boom Festival ist ein internationales Musik- und Kulturfestival im Stadtbezirk von Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova in Portugal. Das Konzept der Biennale Boomland, das Project besteht auf mehrere Elektronischen-Musikrichtungen hauptsächlich Psytrance, weitere Musikrichtungen sind Techno, Progressive, House, Downtempo. Acidhouse, Minimal, Progressive Techno, Verschiedener Kunstformen, Malerei, Skulptur, Videokunst, Kino, Installationen, Yoga und Theater.Das Festival gilt alle zwei Jahre als die größte Veranstaltung ihrer Art in Europa. Der Europäische Festival-Riese wurde sogar von Rolling-Stone-Magazin als einer der wildesten 7-Festivals der Welt gekürt.

It is based on the following dimensions: art and creativity; water; air; soil; waste as a resource; public health; food and nutrition; engagement and social change; energy, mobility and transport; packaging; procurement and materials. The festival has won several green festival international awards since 2008. Over the course of two decades, the festival has honoured themes such as Water (2010); Alchemy (2012); The Feminine (2014); Shamanism (2016) and Sacred Geometry in 2018. The 13th edition of Boom Festival took place on 22 July - 29 July 2022 with The Anthropocene as its main theme, after being rescheduled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
