CONSORT (Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials) ist eine Leitlinie zur Darstellung von randomisierten Studien. Sie umfasst 25 Punkte. Die vorhergehende Leitlinie SORT (Standards of Reporting Trials) umfasste 32 Punkte, wurde aber aufgrund ihrer Rigidität kritisiert, die zu einer schlechten Lesbarkeit der anhand der Leitlinie erstellten Artikel führte. Kritisiert wurde auch die fehlende Erfassung der externen Validität durch SORT. So wurde die Leitlinie zur Leitlinie CONSORT weiter entwickelt. CONSORT wird kritisiert, wegen seiner starken Ausrichtung auf randomisierte Studien und wegen des Fehlens der Bewertung der primären Datenquellen. Dennoch ist die Leitlinie weitgehend anerkannt. À cette liste, est associée un document d'explication, d'illustrations des recommandations par des exemples dont la lecture est conseillée. Pensé comme un document créé de manière collaborative et en évolution, les propositions ConSORT sont sujets à des changements périodiques au fur et à mesure que les pratiques et les données de la science évolueront qui peuvent être retrouvées sur leur site.
