- Der Carbon River ist ein Fluss im Pierce County im Washington. Er fließt etwa 48 Kilometer von seiner Quelle, dem Carbon-Gletscher am Mount Rainier, bis zu seiner Mündung in den Puyallup River bei Orting. Charles Wilkes nannte den Fluss „Upthascap River“, aber nach der Entdeckung von Kohlevorkommen entlang seiner Ufer 1876 wurde er in „Carbon River“ umbenannt. (de)
