كومبتيا (بالإنجليزية: CompTIA) هي منظمة تجارية غير ربحية, أسست عام 1982 كجمعية تتبع منهج تعليمي تهدف للنهوض بمستوى بائعين وموزعين الحاسوب (Association of Better Computer Dealers أو ABCD). غُير اسم جمعية (ABCD) ليصبح (Computing Technology Industry Association) ليُميز دور الجمعية في مجال صناعة الحاسوب, وقد كانت فترة التسعينيات فترة نمو للجمعية لتشمل اختصاصات وفعاليات أخرى لتلبي الحاجة في مجال صناعة الحاسوب كـالشبكات، نظام UNIX و حوسبة متنقلة.
