Darwinbus is a public bus network which operates in Darwin and Palmerston in the Northern Territory. The network is solely operated by CDC Northern Territory under a six-year contract with the Northern Territory Government starting from 1 July 2022. Prior to this, the network was operated under two contracts, one by Buslink (previous name of CDC Northern Territory), and the other by Territory Transit. The Northern Territory Government then combined both contracts, and in May 2022, announced Buslink as the successful bidder after a competitive tender between the two incumbents. Prior to 2014, the services operated by Territory Transit were operated by the government-owned Darwin Bus Service. In December 2013, it was announced that Darwin Bus Service services would be privatised. In July 2014, Transit Systems (owner of Territory Transit) was announced as the successful tenderer.
