Department for Protection and Security (DPS) or Département Protection et Sécurité is the security branch of the National Rally (RN) political party of France (formerly the "National Front"), which depends directly from the RN's president and is led by Eric Staelens as of 2007. As of 2007, it consists of 1,500 men.

Il fait également office de service de renseignement interne. Le DPS a été créé en 1985 et fait suite au service d'ordre « DOM » (direction et organisation des meetings) créé et dirigé par Roger Holeindre. Son premier directeur national (1985 à 1993) est le capitaine Jean Fort, ancien de l'OAS, qui prend pour l'occasion le psuedonyme de "colonel Jeanbart". (fr) Département Protection Sécurité, DPS, är det franska partiet Front Nationals säkerhetsgrupp. DPS:s uppgift är att skydda partiet om det fysiskt angrips. Medlemmarna består bland annat av före detta fallskärmsjägare och folk från främlingslegionen. Alltefter vilken hotbild de möter består deras utrustning av hjälmar, sköldar, gasmasker och skottsäkra västar. De har digitala listor över journalister och antifascister med namn, adress och foto. Gruppen uppges ha cirka 3 000 medlemmar och brukar uppträda i svarta kläder, som beskrivits som "ninjaliknande". Från 1993 leddes gruppen av som 1999 blev ledare för Kongos president Denis Sassou-Nguessos livvakt. Marc Bellier och Jean-Pierre Chabrut var ledare efter Bernard Courcelle.
