دِكْتُوتَة هو جنس من الأعشاب البحرية البنية في فصيلة الدكتوتات. توجد الأنواع في الغالب في البحار الاستوائية وشبه الاستوائية ، ومن المعروف أنها تحتوي على العديد من المواد الكيميائية (diterpenes) التي لها قيمة طبية محتملة. حُدِّدَ نحو 237 نوع مختلف من جميع أنحاء الجنس في نهاية عام 2017. (ar) Dictyota is a genus of brown seaweed in the family Dictyotaceae. Species are predominantly found in tropical and subtropical seas, and are known to contain numerous chemicals (diterpenes) which have potential medicinal value. As at the end of 2017, some 237 different diterpenes had been identified from across the genus. (en) Dictyota est un genre d’algues brunes de la famille des Dictyotaceae. En France certaines algues de ce genre se montrent particulièrement résistantes dans les zones battues par la marée où les macro-algues sont rares et où les algues rouges dominent. Dictyota dichotoma est l’une des rares algues brunes à survivre sur la côte basque avec quelques espèces d’un autre genre d'algues brunes : Colpomenia.
