Eurokod 3 (EC 3, EN 1993): Projektowanie konstrukcji stalowych - Norma Europejska, wchodzi w skład Eurokodów, dotyczy projektowania metodą stanów granicznych budynków i obiektów budowlanych ze stali. Zawiera zasady budowy imperfekcyjnego modelu obliczeniowego konstrukcji, uwzględniającego podatność węzłów, jak również doboru metody analizy globalnej pierwszego i drugiego rzędu, sprężystej i niesprężystej. Bezwzględnie stosowana łącznie z EN 1990 i EN 1991.

Sie behandeln Anforderungen an die Gebrauchstauglichkeit, die Tragfähigkeit, die Dauerhaftigkeit und den Feuerwiderstand von Tragwerken aus Stahl. Andere Anforderungen, wie z. B. Wärmeschutz oder Schallschutz, werden nicht berücksichtigt. It complies with the principles and requirements for the safety and serviceability of structures, the basis of their design and verification that are given in EN 1990 – Basis of structural design. It is only concerned with requirements for resistance, serviceability, durability and fire resistance.
