Profiluje se jako strana středo-pravicová. Základními principy jejího programu jsou dle možnosti minimální zásahy státu do života občanů, nedotknutelné soukromé vlastnictví a volný trh. Die Freie Demokratische Partei (Kurzbezeichnung: FDP, von 1968 bis 2001 F.D.P.; Eigenbezeichnung: Freie Demokraten, bis 2015 Die Liberalen) ist eine liberale Partei in Deutschland, die im politischen Spektrum im Bereich Mitte bis Mitte-rechts eingeordnet wird. Die FDP war 1949 bis 1956, 1961 bis 1966, 1969 bis 1998, 2009 bis 2013 und ist seit 2021 als jeweils kleinerer Koalitionspartner an der Bundesregierung beteiligt (siehe Liste der deutschen Bundesregierungen). Seit 1949 ist sie als Fraktion der Freien Demokraten mit Ausnahme der 18. Legislaturperiode (2013–2017) durchgehend im Deutschen Bundestag vertreten. Sie ist in dreizehn deutschen Landesparlamenten vertreten und an zwei Landesregierungen beteiligt. Zudem stellt sie eine Reihe von Oberbürgermeistern (darunter in Dresden und Jena) und über 3000 weitere kommunale Mandatsträger. Auf Landesebene stellte die FDP bislang zwei Ministerpräsidenten (1945–1953 in Württemberg-Baden/Baden-Württemberg mit Reinhold Maier sowie Anfang 2020 für 27 Tage in Thüringen mit Thomas Kemmerich). Historische Vorläufer der FDP fallen in die Frühzeit der demokratischen Bewegung in Deutschland Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts. Die unmittelbare Linie der Partei geht zurück auf die vor der Märzrevolution abgehaltene Heppenheimer Tagung vom 10. Oktober 1847 und die am 6. Juni 1861 gegründete Deutsche Fortschrittspartei, die erste deutschlandweite Partei. Das alljährliche Dreikönigstreffen der FDP am 6. Januar im Staatstheater Stuttgart geht auf die Tagung liberaler Volksvereine am Dreikönigstag 1866 in Stuttgart zurück. Die FDP wurde am 12. Dezember 1948 auf dem Gründungsparteitag in Heppenheim gegründet und wirkte im Anschluss entscheidend an der Ausgestaltung des freiheitlich demokratischen Grundgesetzes und der ersten Bundesregierung mit. Beim Vereinigungsparteitag am 12. August 1990 erfolgte der Zusammenschluss mit den ostdeutschen Verbänden. (de)

The Free Democratic Party (German: Freie Demokratische Partei; FDP, German pronunciation: [ɛfdeːˈpeː]) is a liberal political party in Germany. The FDP was founded in 1948 by members of former liberal political parties which existed in Germany before World War II, namely the German Democratic Party and the German People's Party. For most of the second half of the 20th century, the FDP held the balance of power in the Bundestag. It has been a junior coalition partner to both the CDU/CSU (1949–1956, 1961–1966, 1982–1998 and 2009–2013) and Social Democratic Party of Germany (1969–1982, 2021–). In the 2013 federal election, the FDP failed to win any directly elected seats in the Bundestag and came up short of the 5 percent threshold to qualify for list representation, being left without representation in the Bundestag for the first time in its history. In the 2017 federal election, the FDP regained its representation in the Bundestag, receiving 10.6% of the vote. After the 2021 federal election the FDP became part of governing Scholz cabinet in coalition with the Social Democratic Party of Germany and The Greens. Since the 1980s, the party has pushed economic liberalism and has aligned itself closely to the promotion of free markets and privatization, and is aligned to the centre or centre-right of the political spectrum. Pada saat ini FDP dipimpin oleh Christian Lindner. Menganut prinsip kebebasan yang lebih besar bagi sebanyak mungkin individu, FDP memperjuangkan kebebasan ekonomi dan kebebasan pribadi sebagai satu kesatuan yang utuh. Atas dasar keyakinan itu, FDP menginginkan pendekatan liberal dalam dua hal. Pertama, campur tangan pemerintah yang seminimal mungkin dalam bisnis swasta dan sokongan penuh terhadap ekonomi pasar bebas. Le Parti libéral-démocrate (en allemand : Freie Demokratische Partei, abrégé en FDP) est un parti politique libéral allemand créé en 1948. Il défend des politiques combinant la défense des libertés fondamentales et du libre-échange avec certains éléments de l’État-providence allemand. D’importance électorale moyenne, avec entre 4,8 et 14,5 % (son meilleur score obtenu en 2009) aux élections fédérales, le FDP est un parti de cadres et un parti-charnière, présent dans toutes les coalitions gouvernementales au plan fédéral de 1949 à 1998 sauf en deux brèves périodes ; en plusieurs occasions, c’est lui qui a provoqué l’alternance selon qu’il s’alliait avec les chrétiens-démocrates ou les sociaux-démocrates. Il a été au gouvernement pendant quarante-deux ans au total, dans quatorze cabinets. Il est de nouveau au gouvernement à la suite des élections de 2009, après onze années d'opposition, en coalition avec la CDU/CSU. Lors des élections fédérales du 22 septembre 2013, le FDP n'obtient que 4,8 % des voix, se voyant privé de sa représentation au Bundestag, et doit donc également quitter le gouvernement. Il revient au Bundestag avec les élections fédérales du 24 septembre 2017 et siège alors dans l'opposition. Il revient au gouvernement après les élections fédérales de 2021, en tant que composante d'une coalition en feu tricolore. Il Partito Liberale Democratico (in tedesco: Freie Demokratische Partei - FDP; lett. Partito Democratico Libero) è un partito politico tedesco di orientamento liberale. È l'erede dei partiti liberali storici Partito Popolare Tedesco, Partito Democratico Tedesco e Partito Nazionale Liberale. Dopo la sua fondazione nel 1948 è stato, fino all'avvento dei Verdi, il terzo partito tedesco ed ago della bilancia fra l'Unione CDU/CSU ed il Partito Socialdemocratico. In seguito alle elezioni federali del 2009 ha fatto parte della maggioranza di governo insieme ai democristiani della CDU e della CSU sostenendo il governo Merkel II. Dal 2013 al 2017 è stato extraparlamentare, mentre dal 2017 al 2021 si è trovato invece all'opposizione del secondo governo di grande coalizione CDU/CSU-SPD, il Governo Merkel IV. A livello internazionale è membro dell'Internazionale Liberale. A livello europeo è membro dell'Alleanza dei Liberali e dei Democratici per l'Europa ed i suoi esponenti siedono nel gruppo Renew Europe. (it)
De Freie Demokratische Partei (FDP, Vrije Democratische Partij) is een Duitse liberale politieke partij en is lid van de Alliantie van Liberalen en Democraten voor Europa (ALDE). Zij verenigt linkse en rechtse liberalen, nadat in de Weimarrepubliek nog twee liberale partijen hadden bestaan. In de jaren 1949-1956, 1961-1966 en 1969-1998 (met een korte onderbreking) was de partij vertegenwoordigd in de Duitse bondsregering. Dit was opnieuw het geval van 2009 tot 2013 in het kabinet-Merkel II. In september 2013 bleef de partij onder de kiesdrempel van 5 procent en haalde daardoor geen enkele zetel in de Bondsdag. Bij de Bondsdagverkiezingen van 2017 wist de FDP met 10,8% terug te keren in de Bondsdag. Vanaf december 2021 regeert FDP op nationaal niveau in het kabinet-Scholz I. O Partido Democrático Liberal foi fundado em 11-12 de dezembro de 1948 em Heppenheim, em Hesse, como uma unificação de todas as 13 organizações de partidos liberais regionais nas três zonas ocidentais de ocupação. O nome proposto, Partido Liberal Democrata (LDP), foi rejeitado pelos delegados, que votaram 64 a 25 em favor do nome Partido Democrático Livre (FDP). Os liberais são considerados os herdeiros históricos do e do Partido Popular Alemão, os partidos liberais na Alemanha antes da ascensão do Nazismo na Alemanha. Freie Demokratische Partei (FDP), ’Fria demokratiska partiet’, är ett liberalt politiskt parti i Tyskland. Partiet har varit representerat i den tyska förbundsdagen länge, frånsett mandatperioden 2013–2017 när partiet saknade representation på nationell nivå. Partiet grundades år 1948. Från 1969 till 1982 satt det i regeringskoalition med socialdemokratiska SPD, och från och med oktober 1982 i koalition med CDU/CSU, med partiledaren Hans-Dietrich Genscher som utrikesminister. Efter valnederlaget 1998 kom FDP att höra till oppositionen. I valet 2009 gick partiet starkt framåt och kunde bilda regering med CDU/CSU. Efter valet 2013 kom dock partiet att helt förlora sin representation i förbundsdagen, då det hamnade strax under femprocentsspärren. I augusti 2017 var partiet representerat i nio delstatsparlament, och deltog i tre delstatsregeringar och i valet 2017 fick partiet en stor framgång med 10,7% väljarstöd och blev åter representerade i förbundsdagen. I valet 2021 ökade partiet till 11,5%. I Europaparlamentet deltar FDP i Gruppen Alliansen liberaler och demokrater för Europa. FDP fick i europaparlamentsvalet 2009 tolv mandat, men i valet 2014 bara tre mandat. Partiet fick i detta val bara 3,36% av rösterna, vilket var långt under den tidigare femprocentsspärren för val till europaparlamentet, som dock från och med detta val upphävdes på grund av författningsdomslut. 자유민주당(自由民主黨, 독일어: Freie Demokratische Partei, 프라이에 데모크라티셰 파르타이/프라이에 데모크라튼[*])은 독일의 자유주의 정당이다. 이전의 독일 민주당과 독일 인민당 당원들이 1948년 창당했다. 자유민주당은 독일의 재통일 이후 구 동독의 독일 자유민주당(LPD)와 독일 국가민주당(NPD), 독일 포럼당(DFP), 동독 자유민주당(FDP)도 병합했다. 2013년 독일 총선에서 단 1석의 의석수도 얻지 못하며 연방의회 하원 원내 진입에 사상 처음으로 실패하였다. 하지만 2017년 독일 총선에서 다시 80석을 얻으며 원내 4당이 되었다. 원내 3당으로 올라서면서 독일 사회민주당와 함께 연립내각을 구성하여 여당이 되었다. De Freie Demokratische Partei (FDP, Vrije Democratische Partij) is een Duitse liberale politieke partij en is lid van de Alliantie van Liberalen en Democraten voor Europa (ALDE). Zij verenigt linkse en rechtse liberalen, nadat in de Weimarrepubliek nog twee liberale partijen hadden bestaan. In de jaren 1949-1956, 1961-1966 en 1969-1998 (met een korte onderbreking) was de partij vertegenwoordigd in de Duitse bondsregering. Dit was opnieuw het geval van 2009 tot 2013 in het kabinet-Merkel II. In september 2013 bleef de partij onder de kiesdrempel van 5 procent en haalde daardoor geen enkele zetel in de Bondsdag. Bij de Bondsdagverkiezingen van 2017 wist de FDP met 10,8% terug te keren in de Bondsdag. Vanaf december 2021 regeert FDP op nationaal niveau in het kabinet-Scholz I. (nl)
