Ghazir ist ein Ort im Libanon, etwa 30 Kilometer nördlich von Beirut, bzw. nahe Jounieh im Gouvernement Libanonberg gelegen. Ghazir liegt im christlichen Gebiet des Libanons, in den Bergen 1000 Meter über Meer. Der Ort ist bekannt für das maronitische Priesterseminar, welches vormals von den Jesuiten geleitet wurde. Es gibt dort eine Schule der Antoninen Schwestern. In Ghazir befindet sich auch die Weinkellerei Château Musar. (de)
Ghazir (Arabic: غزير) is a town and municipality in the Keserwan District of the Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate of Lebanon. It is located 27 kilometres (17 mi) north of Beirut. It has an average elevation of 380 meters above sea level and a total land area of 542 hectares (2.09 sq mi). The town has four schools, two public and two private, with a total of 3,253 students as of 2008. Ghazir's name is derived from Arabic root words for "heavy rains", and the town is known for its numerous groundwater reserves. Ghazir is divided into three major parts: Ghazir el-Fawka, Central Ghazir, and Kfarhbab. The inhabitants of Ghazir are predominantly Maronite Catholics. (en)

Ghazir – miejscowość w Libanie, w dystrykcie Kasarwan, miejsce urodzenia emira Beszira Szihaba II oraz prezydenta Fuada Szihaba. W mieście znajduje się zabytkowe kolegium Deir Mar Maroun, wybudowane przez jezuitów w latach 1843-44. W Ghazir zatrzymał się Juliusz Słowacki podczas swojej podróży na Bliski Wschód w 1837 roku. W okresie II wojny światowej i tuż po niej przebywali tu polscy uchodźcy, istniała polska szkoła i kościół. (pl)
