Masakan berkuah warna coklat kehitaman ini biasa dimakan dengan burasa dan ketupat yang dipotong-potong terlebih dahulu. Warna gelap ini berasal dari buah kluwek yang memang berwarna hitam. Bumbunya relatif "kuat" akibat digunakannya ketumbar.
