LazyTown is an Icelandic educational television series created by gymnastics champion Magnús Scheving, the CEO of LazyTown Entertainment. The program originally aired on Nickelodeon as part of the Nick Jr. block in the United States. The first two seasons consisted of fifty-two episodes, aired from 2004 to 2007. Turner Broadcasting System Europe then acquired LazyTown Entertainment in 2011 and commissioned a third season consisting of 13 episodes, which premiered on 13 March 2013 in the United Kingdom on Cartoonito. A fourth season, consisting of 13 episodes, premiered in the UK in 2014. A spin-off series entitled LazyTown Extra debuted on CBeebies on 15 September 2008.

Robbie Rotten wants the LazyTown kids to stop eating healthy foods and ruin the festival, so the supervillain disguises himself as life-size fruits and vegetables, hoping to scare the kids and stop the festivities. Robbie Rotten disguise: A giant carrot, a giant apple, a giant banana Song: "Good Stuff" Absent: Trixie, Milford Meanswell, Bessie Busybody (en) Stephanie is invited to join a famous dance school far, far away. But this is all part of Robbie Rotten's big scheme to get rid of her and Sportacus. It's up Stephanie find out the truth about the supervillain before it's too late. This then inspires them to dress up as knights and Sportacus dresses up in the armor of the famous blue knight. When the purple knight arrives in town, Sportacus and Robbie Rotten challenge to a duel. But Robbie switches Ziggy's nice talking teddy bear with a mean Teddycus which hands him bad support. Can Ziggy learn how to play basketball and compete against the supervillain? It's now or never! Robbie Rotten disguise: Bobby Bird Song: "One More Time" (en) During school, Trixie acts as a ghost and scares her classmates especially Ziggy. So Robbie Rotten decides to disguise himself as a ghost to scare the kids even more from the school. Soon the airship is broken with the supervillain inside, and the only one who can stop it from crashing into Pixel's house is Sportacus. But when Robbie Rotten follows them and plays the role of the Big Bad Wolf, the kids get stuck inside the book. Sportacus must now become the hero of the fairy tale and save them from the supervillain's clutches. The kids are excited to receive presents from Santa Claus , but to everyone's surprise, Santa shows up empty-handed. In the search for the lost presents, the kids realize they don't need gifts to capture the true holiday spirit and even worse, they forgot Robbie Rotten to invite him to the Christmas party and gave him a gift. Song: "Holly Jolly Holidays" (en) Robbie Rotten orders an Egyptian pyramid with the hope of trapping Sportacus inside, But the kids ruin his plans and Stingy makes things go crazy. Can the kids compete against Robbie alone? Will they revive Sportacus in time? Song: "Energy" (en) Stephanie builds a cool Play Park for her friends, but they're lured away by Robbie Rotten and his dangerous thrill ride. Robbie Rotten disguise: A purple bush monster Song: "Time to Play" Absent: Bessie Busybody (en) The Lazy Cup soccer tournament is taking place in LazyTown, and the winner gets a golden trophy and a wish. Everything is on the line when the kids compete in a soccer match against Robbie Rotten's team, the Soccerbots. If they don't win the match, Sportacus will be forced to leave town forever. It's Sportacus versus Robbie Rotten. "One shall stand, one shall fall". The supervillain later seizes all the arguments from the townsfolk to tempt Sportacus with a sugar apple. When everyone finds Sportacus being cursed again by Robbie Rotten for the second time and puts him into an eternal slumber, they must wreck the wall and save him before it's too late, thus finding that Robbie was responsible for the wall and did it with the intention of breaking up the town and worse, tear Stephanie and the kids apart. Robbie Rotten disguise: The Giant Wall Builder Song: "We Will Be Friends" (en) Robbie Rotten wins the election for Mayor by cheating and rigging the votes. He makes up new rules for LazyTown that encourage laziness. Mayor Meanswell becomes a spy and together with Sportacus, he and the kids try to win the election foil supervillain's plans. Robbie Rotten poses as a legendary scary snow monster known as the abominable snowman or yeti to frighten the LazyTown kids from playing outside in the snow. When there are two Pablo Fantastico's in LazyTown they have a cook off to see who's the real one and who's the fake one. Robbie Rotten disguise: A hamburger vendor and Pablo Fantastico Song: "We Love SportsCandy" (en) Ziggy wants to be a hero just like Sportacus, but he keeps messing things up, especially a clubhouse the other kids are trying to make. Meanwhile, Robbie Rotten has insomnia, which makes him extra cranky and in the mood to cause chaos for the citizens of LazyTown, including sawing an overhanging tree branch to smash the clubhouse. Ziggy steps in and finally manages to become a hero and save the day. Absent: Stingy Song: "Step by Step" (en) Pixel is staying up too late at night playing video games, and Sportacus encourages him to get to sleep on time, explaining that sleep is the source of his own energy. Robbie overhears this and hatches a plan to deprive Sportacus of sleep by changing the time on his clock. When Sportacus starts losing energy, Stephanie and the kids uncover Robbie's plot and they make sure to get lots of sleep so they can beat Robbie in an all-or-nothing baseball game.
