Milan "Mile" Budak (Sveti Rok, 30 de agosto de 1889- Zagreb, 7 de junio de 1945) fue un político y escritor croata ustacha. Conocido como uno de los principales ideólogos del movimiento ustacha fascista croata, que gobernó el Estado Independiente de Croacia durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial desde 1941 a 1945, llevando a cabo una campaña genocida contra la población de origen gitano y judío, y forzando a la conversión religiosa o a la expulsión de la población de origen serbio.

Již v 30. letech a především za druhé světové války byl literárně činný. Jeho několikasvazkový román Ognjište představoval oficiální kurz literatury, který byl schválen představiteli chorvatského fašistického státu. V něm se především soustředil na vztah mezi člověkem a jeho rodnou půdou. Sepsal také ještě celou řadu jiných děl, jako např. Opanci dida Vidurine, nebo Rascvjetana trešnja. Za druhé světové války zastával post ministra víry a školství (po celou dobu existence Nezávislého státu Chorvatsko) a po nějakou dobu byl i ministrem zahraničí. V roce 1945 byl lidovým soudem obviněn za kolaboraci s nepřítelem a odsouzen k trestu smrti. Jeho díla komunistická moc zakázala.
