L'Observatoire de Molonglo est un observatoire astronomique géré par l'Université de Sydney qui opère un radiotélescope. Il est situé près de la rivière Molonglo, près de Canberra. (fr) The Molonglo Observatory Synthesis Telescope (MOST) is a radio telescope operating at 843 MHz. It is operated by the School of Physics of the University of Sydney. The telescope is located in Hoskinstown, near the Molonglo River and Canberra, and was constructed by modification of the east–west arm of the former Molonglo Cross Telescope, a larger version of the Mills Cross Telescope. Il telescopio è situato nei pressi del fiume Molonglo vicino a Canberra, in Australia. Il radiotelescopio è stato ricavato dal dismesso Mills Croce Telescope modificando il braccio est-ovest. ll MOST è stato costruito nel 1953 ed ha favorito le prime ricerche di radioastronomia. In seguito all'obsolescenza tecnologica è stato dismesso ed in seguito aggiornato dai ricercatori dell'Università di Swinburne per lo studio dei Fast Radio Burst e delle pulsar, consentendo di ottenere più di mille immagini al secondo con un trasferimento di dati di circa 22 GB/s.
