Der Oldsmobile Firenza war ein von Anfang 1982 bis Sommer 1988 gebautes Fahrzeug der unteren Mittelklasse des amerikanischen Autoherstellers Oldsmobile. Die Bezeichnung Firenza war zuvor bereits für eine Sportausführung des Oldsmobile Starfire verwendet worden. Bis auf Details an Karosserie und Interieur war der frontgetriebene Firenza mit seinen GM-Schwestermodellen Chevrolet Cavalier, Cadillac Cimarron, Buick Skyhawk und Pontiac J2000 identisch; eine enge Verwandtschaft bestand zudem mit dem Opel Ascona C. It was not based on the European market Vauxhall Firenza, but on the same platform as the Vauxhall Cavalier Mk 2 / Opel Ascona C. Era basata sul pianale J della General Motors, che condivideva con la Buick Skyhawk, la Cadillac Cimarron, la Chevrolet Cavalier e la Pontiac Sunbird. Questa piattaforma era a trazione anteriore e montava il motore nell’avantreno. La Firenza era disponibile in quattro versioni: due porte coupé, tre porte hatchback, quattro porte berlina e quattro porte familiare.
