dbo:abstract | Ich war den Hunnen untertan (ungarisches Original: A láthatatlan ember, Der unsichtbare Mensch – auf Deutsch auch als Wer bist du erschienen) ist ein historischer Roman des ungarischen Schriftstellers Géza Gárdonyi aus dem Jahr 1902. (de) Slave of the Huns is a novel by the Hungarian writer Géza Gárdonyi, published in 1901. The original Hungarian title is A láthatatlan ember, which translates literally as The Invisible Man, but its title was changed in English (probably to differentiate it from H. G. Wells' novel). In the opinion of some people, including Gárdonyi himself, it is his best work. In 2005 it was ranked no. 38 in the Hungarian version of the survey "Big Read". An English translation by Andrew Feldmár was first published in 1969. (en) Byłem niewolnikiem Hunów (węg. A láthatatlan ember) – napisana w 1902 r. węgierska powieść historyczna Gézy Gárdonyiego, której akcja toczy się pod koniec starożytności w latach 440-453 w Galii, państwie Hunów oraz w Konstantynopolu. Autor powiązał w niej tradycje o huńskim rodowodzie Węgrów z nieco ubarwionymi faktami historycznymi. Postaciami historycznymi są m.in. Attyla, jego żona Ildico i syn Ellak, król Gepidów – Ardaryk, historyk bizantyjski Priskos z Panion, tłumacz , ojciec Romulusa Augustulusa – Orestes oraz ojciec Odoakra – . (pl) |
