Africký národní kongres (ANC) je socialistická strana v Jihoafrické republice. Strana vznikla roku 1912 (Jihoafrický domorodý kongres) jako socialistické hnutí bránící zájmy černošského obyvatelstva. V roce 1926 navázalo vedení ANC spolupráci se zástupci indické menšiny s tím, že společně požadovali vytvoření jednotného, rasově integrovaného demokratického státu. Název Africký národní kongres byl přijat v roce 1955 po spojení Afrického domorodého kongresu, Komunistické strany Jižní Afriky (South African Communist Party, SACP) a komunistické odborové organizace Jihoafrického odborového svazu (Congress of South African Trade Unions, COSATU).. The African National Congress (ANC) is a social-democratic political party in South Africa. A liberation movement known for its opposition to apartheid, it has governed the country since 1994, when the first post-apartheid election installed Nelson Mandela as President of South Africa. Cyril Ramaphosa, the incumbent national President, has served as President of the ANC since 18 December 2017. Founded on 8 January 1912 in Bloemfontein as the South African Native National Congress (SANNC), the organisation was formed to agitate, by moderate methods, for the rights of black South Africans. When the National Party government came to power in 1948, the ANC's central purpose became to oppose the new government's policy of institutionalised apartheid. To this end, its methods and means of organisation shifted; its adoption of the techniques of mass politics, and the swelling of its membership, culminated in the Defiance Campaign of civil disobedience in 1952–53. The ANC was banned by the South African government between April 1960 – shortly after the Sharpeville massacre – and February 1990. During this period, despite periodic attempts to revive its domestic political underground, the ANC was forced into exile by increasing state repression, which saw many of its leaders imprisoned on Robben Island. Headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia, the exiled ANC dedicated much of its attention to a campaign of sabotage and guerrilla warfare against the apartheid state, carried out under its military wing, uMkhonto we Sizwe, which was founded in 1961 in partnership with the South African Communist Party (SACP). The ANC was condemned as a terrorist organisation by the governments of South Africa, the United States, and the United Kingdom. However, it positioned itself as a key player in the negotiations to end apartheid, which began in earnest after the ban was repealed in 1990. In the post-apartheid era, the ANC continues to identify itself foremost as a liberation movement, although it is also a registered political party. Partly due to its Tripartite Alliance with the SACP and the Congress of South African Trade Unions, it has retained a comfortable electoral majority at the national level and in most provinces, and has provided each of South Africa's five presidents since 1994. South Africa is considered a dominant-party state. However, the ANC's electoral majority has declined consistently since 2004, and in the most recent elections – the 2021 local elections – its share of the national vote dropped below 50% for the first time ever. Over the last decade, the party has been embroiled in a number of controversies, particularly relating to widespread allegations of political corruption among its members. (en)

Cyril Ramaphosa, actual presidente del país, se ha desempeñado como líder del ANC desde el 18 de diciembre de 2017. Kongres Nasional Afrika (bahasa Inggris: African National Congress, ANC) adalah sebuah partai politik Afrika Selatan yang berhaluan tengah-kiri dan telah merupakan partai berkuasa di Afrika Selatan (dalam suatu koalisi) sejak memperoleh kekuatan mayoritas pada Mei 1994. Partai ini didirikan pada tanggal 8 Januari 1912 di Bloemfontein untuk melindungi hak-hak kaum mayoritas kulit hitam. Beberapa pendirinya adalah Albert Lutuli (kelak akan menjadi penerima Penghargaan Perdamaian Nobel), penyair dan penulis , dan (presiden ANC pertama). En 1994, les premières élections législatives multiraciales au suffrage universel sans restriction permettent à l'ANC de conquérir le pouvoir et à Nelson Mandela, président de l'ANC, d'être ensuite élu président de la république d'Afrique du Sud. Depuis lors, L'ANC domine la vie politique sud-africaine, remportant tous les scrutins nationaux et locaux. Son président actuel est Cyril Ramaphosa et son quartier général est installé dans la Chief Albert Luthuli House, immeuble de vingt-deux étages situé au 54 Sauer Street à Johannesbourg. O Congresso Nacional Africano (CNA; em inglês African National Congress, ANC) é um movimento e partido político sul-africano. Desde o fim do regime conhecido como apartheid, em 1994, o CNA é o principal partido político da África do Sul, sendo apoiado pela aliança com Congresso dos Sindicatos Sul-africanos e o Partido Comunista Sul-Africano. Nelson Mandela foi a figura mais influente do partido, assim como de todo o continente africano. Fondé en 1912 à Bloemfontein pour défendre les intérêts de la majorité noire contre la minorité blanche, il fut déclaré hors-la-loi par le Parti national pendant l’apartheid en 1960. O Congresso Nacional Africano (CNA; em inglês African National Congress, ANC) é um movimento e partido político sul-africano. Desde o fim do regime conhecido como apartheid, em 1994, o CNA é o principal partido político da África do Sul, sendo apoiado pela aliança com Congresso dos Sindicatos Sul-africanos e o Partido Comunista Sul-Africano. Det bildades som en politisk organisation den 8 januari 1912 under namnet South African Native National Congress (Sydafrikanska ursprungsbefolkningens nationalkongress). Bland de tidiga förgrundsfigurerna fanns Pixley ka Isaka Seme. Man bytte till sitt nuvarande namn 1923.
