Bitte Orca je šesté studiové album americké indierockové hudební skupiny Dirty Projectors. Album vyšlo dne 9. června roku 2009 prostřednictvím hudebního vydavatelství Domino Records a jeho producentem byl zpěvák a kytarista skupiny David Longstreth. Na obalu alba, který byl inspirován obalem třetího alba skupiny Slaves' Graves and Ballads, se nachází fotografie dvou členek skupiny: Amber Coffman a Angel Deradoorian. V žebříčku Billboard 200 se album umístilo na 64. příčce a ke 4. dubnu 2012 se jej prodalo 85 000 kusů. (cs)
Bitte Orca is the fifth studio album by American experimental rock band Dirty Projectors, released on June 9, 2009, on Domino Records. The word "bitte" is a German word for "please", and "orca" is another name for a killer whale. Frontman David Longstreth states that he liked the way the words sound together. Longstreth notes that the music contained within the album "felt very [much] about colors, and their interaction," and that the music was written with the notion of the band, as a whole, in mind. Two of the album's tracks, "Temecula Sunrise" and "Cannibal Resource", appeared on the subsequent EP release, Temecula Sunrise, alongside two new songs. The album peaked at #65 on the Billboard 200 and #12 on the Independent Albums chart. As of April 4, 2012, the album has sold 85,000 copies in the U.S. Bitte Orca is the only studio album by the group to feature Angel Deradoorian as a full-time member. (en)
