Whispering Corridors (Korean: 여고괴담; Hanja: 女高怪談; RR: Yeogo goedam; also known as Ghost School and Ghost School Horror) is a South Korean supernatural horror film series. The series uses an all-girls high school as the backdrop for each of its films. Every Whispering Corridors film features a different plot, characters and settings. The series is notable for helping generate the explosion of the New Korean Wave cinematic movement, and dealing with taboo topics such as authoritarianism in the harsh South Korean education system, gay relationships and teen suicide, following the liberalization of censorship.

La Saga Comenzó en 1998 con la primera película llamada Whispering Corridors de 'Park Ki-hyeong'. Las cinco películas se ambientan en un colegio para chicas y la historia No tienen ni los mismos personajes, ni las mismas historias, ni siquiera los mismos directores ni productores. Se relacionan al ser todas llevadas a cabo en un colegio para chicas de Corea. Comienza en la noche antes del primer día del nuevo año escolar, La profesora Park, descubre algo extraño mirando los anuarios del colegio, en referencia a una antigua alumna llamada Jin Ju, la cual se suicidó hace 9 años. La profesora Park no duda en llamar a la señorita Hur Eun-young, antigua alumna y ahora profesora del instituto, que coincidió con Jin Ju en su época de estudiante. Pero en mitad de la lluviosa noche, la profesora Park es asesinada brutalmente por lo que parece ser una alumna del lugar. La película tuvo tanto éxito en Corea del Sur que se consideró tener una secuela Memento Mori.
