Frederik V Oldenburg, King of Denmark was born on 31 March 1723 at Copenhagen, DenmarkG.3 He was the son of Christian VI Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Sophie Magdalen von Brandenburg-Kulmbach.4 He married, firstly, Louisa Hanover, Princess of Great Britain and Ireland, daughter of George II Augustus Hanover, King of Great Britain and Wilhelmine Charlotte Karoline Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach, on 11 December 1743 at Hamburg-Altona, GermanyG, They were first married by proxy on 30 October 1743.5 He married, secondly, Juliane Marie Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, daughter of Ferdinand Albrecht II Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and Antoinette Amalie Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, on 8 July 1752 at Fredericksborg, DenmarkG.6 He died on 14 January 1766 at age 42 at Christiansborg Castle, Copenhagen, DenmarkG.3
He succeeded as the King Frederik V of Denmark on 6 August 1746.3

Alexander Ludwig Georg Friedrich Emil Prinz von Hessen und bei Rhein was born on 15 July 1823.3 He was the son of Ludwig II Großherzog von Hessen und bei Rhein and Wilhelmine Prinzessin von Baden.3,4 He married Julie Therese Gräfin von Hauke, daughter of Hans Johann Moritz Graf von Hauke and Sophie la Fontaine, on 28 October 1851 in a morganatic marriage.3 He died on 15 December 1888 at age 65.4
He gained the rank of General in the Russian Army.4 He gained the rank of General in the Austrian Army.4 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)3

Julie Therese Gräfin von Hauke was born on 12 November 1825 at Warsaw, PolandG.3 She was the daughter of Hans Johann Moritz Graf von Hauke and Sophie la Fontaine.3 She married Alexander Ludwig Georg Friedrich Emil Prinz von Hessen und bei Rhein, son of Ludwig II Großherzog von Hessen und bei Rhein and Wilhelmine Prinzessin von Baden, on 28 October 1851 in a morganatic marriage.4 She died on 19 September 1895 at age 69 at Schloss Heiligenberg, Jugenheim, Hessen, GermanyG.3
She gained the title of Gräfin von Hauke.5 She was created Gräfin von Battenberg [Hesse] on 5 November 1851.4 She was created Prinzessin von Battenberg on 26 December 1858.1
