Anne Wellesley was born illegitimately in 1788.2,3 She was the daughter of Richard Wellesley, 1st Marquess Wellesley of Norragh and Hyacinthe Gabrielle Roland.1 She married, firstly, Sir William Abdy, 7th Bt., son of Captain Sir William Abdy, 6th Bt. and Mary Brebner-Gordon, on 3 July 1806 at Hyde Park Corner, London, EnglandG.1 She and Sir William Abdy, 7th Bt. were divorced on 25 June 1816 by Act of Parliament.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Lord William Charles Augustus Cavendish-Bentinck, son of William Henry Cavendish-Bentinck, 3rd Duke of Portland and Lady Dorothy Cavendish, on 16 July 1816.1 She died on 19 March 1875 at 31 Norfolk Street, Park Lane, London, England.1,4
