Company Notes

27 Jul 1934: Powell Duffryn Steam Coal Co., Ltd. — Particulars have been filed of 4½ per cent, first mortgage debenture stock to secure £2,500,000, together with a premium of 4 per cent., authorised March 9, 1934, and covered by trust deed dated June 22, 1934, the whole amount being now issued. Power is reserved to create and issue further debenture stock, ranking parri passu, but so that the total amount shall not exceed £3,000,000. Property charged: Certain freehold and leasehold properties, etc., in the counties of Glamorgan and Monmouth, shares, securities and obligations, and the company's undertaking and other property, present and future, including uncalled capital, except (a) coke ovens, etc., at Gelligaer and Bedwellty; (b) Britannia Mining School, Pengam; and (c) Aberdare Valley Rescue Station. The trustees are Royal Exchange Assurance.
